Ericka Chemko is the Project Manager for Inuit Heritage Trust, based in Iqaluit, Nunavut. This is the second field school
she organized on behalf of IHT.
She has a talent for bossing people around, obsessively cleaning up camp and making funny faces for the camera :)
Some of my best memories of the Qilalukkat field school are the breathtaking scenery, the friendly people of Pond Inlet,
the Co-op poutine (who can't love fries, cheese and gravy?) and of COURSE the students who participated. They really challenged
me, but we all came out at the end appreciating each other and really caring for everyone. I want to keep in touch with everyone,
even if they don't want to be involved in the heritage sector (ha,ha).
